This auction is for a great vintage, if not antique mute for brass instrument ~ perfect for collectors and decorators!  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at recent rural Kansas estate auctions. This listing:

I know nothing about these, so please aske questions if I left out something that needs to be included
this mute is Sha'stock Tonalcolor and Made in USA
it stands approximately 11 1/4 inches tall and is just under 3 inches in diameter at widest point
I do NOT know what instrument it was designed for
has six corks applied to the pointed end
I am not sure what it is made of but it is NOT metal
it is white in color
dusty due to years of storage
estate sale find
I am guessing that it dates to the 1940s or 50s
estate find
color shade is accurate on my monitor
straight from the auction
no odors noted
